The National Program Manager - Operations Support role is a key position within our operations team, responsible for managing maintenance programs that support our property management operations. This includes developing, executing, optimizing, and analyzing programs designed to enhance our large portfolio of single-family rental properties.

Your Role

  • Develop and implement maintenance program processes and procedures, leveraging your expertise in program area to drive efficiency and cost savings.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned operational programs, providing guidance and support to field teams and stakeholders.

  • Train and support field teams to effectively execute operational programs, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.

  • Collaborate with third-party vendors/partners to maximize the impact of operational programs, driving innovation and improving outcomes.

  • Analyze maintenance department data and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, maximizing operational efficiency and optimizing expenses.

  • Review and approve national maintenance invoices to ensure accurate GL coding, costs, margin percentages, and credit allocations.

  • Interface with management and accounting teams on national invoicing procedures and analysis, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

  • Track and analyze weekly maintenance expense trends to identify cost-saving opportunities, implementing strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

  • Monitor maintenance activities related to insurable events (e.g., major storms) to ensure associated expenses are captured and allocated properly.

  • Utilize various task flow management tools, reporting, and dashboards to achieve company and departmental goals, driving progress and success.

  • Resolve invoice disputes/errors and seek credits when owed, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and service.

  • Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow.

  • Travel up to 25% of the time to visit field and vendor offices, representing the company and promoting collaboration and teamwork.
