Job Summary:

The EMT Intermediate role at Emt Ambulance is a vital position that requires compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. As an EMT Intermediate, you will be responsible for providing basic life support and emergency medical services in a variety of settings, including pre-hospital and inter-facility environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide emergency medical care to patients in accordance with company policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to all company protocols and regulations
Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Document patient information accurately and completely

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of an Advanced EMT program and licensure in the state of employment
One year of related experience preferred
Current Valid Driver's License
Current and valid AEMT Certification
Current and valid CPT (Health Care Provider minimum) certification

Physical Demands:

Sit and stand for extended periods
Walk, bend, squat, twist, reach, push, pull, and carry
Frequently lift and/or move more than 125 pounds, including patients up and down stairs

Working Conditions:

Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Exposure to emergency situations and traumatic events
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
