We are looking for a detail-oriented Material Control Associate to join our team at The Contractor Consultants. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, tracking inventory movements, and ensuring that materials are readily available for upcoming projects.
About the Job:
This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our project managers and technicians to ensure that materials are readily available for upcoming projects and that our inventory is accurately managed.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory levels for HVAC parts and supplies.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Track and document inventory movements, including receiving, stocking, and distribution.
- Work closely with project managers and technicians to ensure materials are readily available for upcoming projects.
- Coordinate with vendors to manage orders, deliveries, and returns.
- Utilize inventory management software to update and monitor stock levels.
- Inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy against purchase orders.
- Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment.
- Manage and order inventory to ensure sufficient stock levels.
- Order and maintain truck stock for all company vehicles.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Familiarity with HVAC materials, parts, and equipment is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in inventory software and basic computer applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment safely.
