We are seeking a skilled Dishwasher to join our team at Peaks of Otter Lodge in Bedford, Virginia. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our guests through exceptional standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to the highest standards.
- Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in a clean and organized manner.
- Clean and maintain the kitchen area, including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area.
- Remove trash from the dish room and transport it to the dumpster, and clean and sanitize the garbage cans.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Capacity to work cooperatively with others.
- No experience required, but a willingness to learn and take direction is essential.
This is a physically demanding role that requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will be exposed to variable temperatures and damp environments.
Shift DetailsThis is a seasonal role with day and evening shifts available, including weekends. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including Monday to Friday.
