Job Summary

The Internship Coordinator is a key role in the Career Center, responsible for designing and managing internships and other career-preparation opportunities for students. This includes cultivating relationships with employers, organizing job and internship fairs, and providing individual and group career advising.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement MOU agreements with employers to formalize internship opportunities for students
  • Serve as liaison for academic departments, university administrators, department chairs, employers, and students participating in internships
  • Manage existing and create new internship resources, including career services workshops and internship-related programming
  • Conduct outreach and marketing to off-campus employers who may provide internship opportunities
  • Work closely with the Career Center assistant director and supervise student career assistant(s) to provide exceptional service and programming to the university
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficient with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva
  • Excellent career-related writing skills
  • Minimum 1 year experience in university-based Career Center, Recruiting, Career Development and Event Planning
  • Experience in a position utilizing Social Media such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, to promote activities or events
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field
  • Certification in Strong Interest Inventory, Myers Briggs, or other career-related assessments
  • Knowledge of Human Resources and/or hiring practices
  • Knowledge of curriculum and majors offered at CSU Pueblo
  • Knowledge of University Tickets, MOU agreements, student employment
