Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ETL QA Automation Specialist to join our team at Synechron. As an ETL QA Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated test cases to ensure the quality of our ETL processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional requirements
- Contribute to test planning and build test cases for stories in the given sprint as per story acceptance criteria
- Automate test cases in User-Interface(UI) and database using tools like Selenium/Tosca
- Build and use test data required to accomplish execution of test cases
- Execute test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test results
- Test new and existing features, debug code (units and integration), and report errors and failures
- Work collaboratively with the development team for defect triaging
- Execute all levels of testing (Functional, Integration, and Regression)
- Design, develop, execute automation scripts
- Ownership in end-end testing
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies; provide timely solutions
- Apply quality principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle with the appropriate support and documentation
Requirements:
- ETL Testing (able to write complex queries)
- UI Testing
- Autosys (Jobs scheduling/Batch processing)
- Agile Methodology
- Unix (for files or logs checking)
- Tosca Automation or automation experience in Database
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Education:
- Technical BA/BS (Engineering, Computer Science, Math) and a minimum of 6 years of experience
Desired Skills:
- Strong problem identification and solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Prior experience of working with globally distributed teams
- Experience in Banking domain
