Key Responsibilities- Observation and Reporting: Observe residents' health and report any concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Personal Care: Assist with residents' personal hygiene, including bed baths, shaving, and other essential tasks.
- Meal Preparation and Service: Set up meal trays, document food and fluid intake, and serve nutritional supplements to residents.
- Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain residents' living spaces, including making beds and keeping areas clean and tidy.
- Transportation: Safely transport residents within the facility.
- Prevention of Bedsores: Regularly turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and facility data.
- Teamwork: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a team member.
- CNA Program Completion: Successfully complete a Certified Nursing Assistant program.
- New York State Certification: Hold current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of New York.
- Good Standing: Maintain good standing with the State Registry.
