Allina Health is a leading healthcare organization that prioritizes patient-centered care. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Operative Preparation: Assist in preparing the operating room and setting up for procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
- Surgical Team Member: Participate as a member of the surgical team, maintaining a sterile field, anticipating needs for instruments and equipment, and performing sponge, sharps, and other counts accurately.
- Post-Operative Support: Assist in the post-operative care of patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate's or Vocational degree graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Certifications: Certified Surgical Technologist from The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or Tech in Surgery TS-C (NCCT) Certification.
- Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
