Actuarial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled actuarial professional to join our team at DMC Insurance, Inc. The ideal candidate will possess strong mathematical and analytical skills to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.

• Develop and maintain proprietary rating formulas to ensure accurate and timely rate filings.
• Support the Underwriting, Claims, Sales, Product Development, Strategic Planning, and Reinsurance departments with critical reports and data analysis.
• Collaborate with the Data Science department to build predictive models and enhance reporting functionality.
• Prepare and verify rate level indications, territorial analyses, trend information, and claims and ratemaking data.

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of actuarial experience in the P&C insurance industry.
• At least 1 actuarial exam passed.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and an aptitude to learn new programs.
• Proficiency in R or Python preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to engage cross-functionally across teams and business units.
