Position SummaryAs a member of our nursing team, you'll work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to residents and patients. In our Woodland Park setting, you'll be part of a household model designed to promote a real home experience while receiving necessary support.
In Transitional Care, you'll focus on short-term rehabilitation in a post-acute setting. Your role may involve working in both settings.
Compensation- The starting base rate of pay is $15.50 - $20.15 (with CNA license) or $13.25 - $16.78 (without certification)
- + $2.00 shift premium per hour when scheduled to work from 2:00PM - 6:00AM, all days
- + $2.00 weekend premium per hour when scheduled to work any shift (6:00AM Saturday through 6:00AM Monday)
- Benefit-eligible employees are eligible for benefits on date of hire
- Positions scheduled 60+ hours per pay period are eligible for all benefits; positions scheduled 40-59 hours per pay period are eligible for most benefits except medical insurance.

- A high school graduate or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- You must meet one of the following criteria:
- Hold a current license as a Certified Nurse Aide in Virginia;
- Have completed a Virginia Board of Nursing approved Geriatric Nurse Aide training course within the past 12 months and have obtained a training completion certificate; or
- Provide documentation verifying completion of at least one clinical nursing course including 40+ hours of direct client care experience within the past 12 months while enrolled in a nursing education program preparing for registered nurse or practical nurse licensure. If #2 or #3 applies, you must become eligible to register for and take the state certification exam to become licensed as a Certified Nurse Aide in Virginia within 120 days of employment.
- Current CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification at VMRC within 60 days of employment.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand basic English language concepts.
- Frequent lifting or moving objects or patients weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds.
- Dependable individual able to carry out responsibilities with limited supervision, work collaboratively as a team member, and effectively communicate and interact with others in a professional manner.
- Available shifts include:
- 4-hours
- 8-hours (6:00AM - 2:30PM / 2:00PM - 10:30PM / 10:00PM - 6:30AM)
- 12-hours (6:00AM - 6:00PM / 6:00PM - 6:00AM)
Potential schedules available include:
- Full-Time w/ All Benefits: 4 shifts per week plus every other weekend = 80 hours per pay period
- Part-Time w/ All Benefits: 3 shifts per week plus every other weekend = 64 hours per pay period
- Part-Time w/ All Benefits Except Medical Insurance: 1-2 shifts per week plus every other weekend = 40-56 hours per pay period
- Part-Time: 1 shift per week plus every other weekend = 32 hours per pay period
- Part-Time: every other weekend = 16 hours per pay period
- Flex: scheduled as needed with minimum of 3 shifts per month including 1 weekend
