Job Summary

BrightStar Care of Pembroke Pines is seeking a Part-Time Field Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality healthcare services to clients in Miramar, Florida.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the comfort of the client's home
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of the client's health status
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans based on assessment findings
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Monitor and record changes in the client's health status
  • Educate clients and their families on proper health maintenance and disease prevention strategies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients
  • Communicate and coordinate with the client's physician, family, and interdisciplinary team members
Requirements
  • Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Florida
  • Minimum of 1-year nursing experience, preferably in a home health, hospital or hospice setting
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Passion for providing compassionate and patient-centered care
Preferred Qualifications
  • ACLS or PALS certification
  • Chemo certification
