Speech-Language Pathologist

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a small school district in the metro Boston area. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing speech and language services to elementary school students, working closely with teachers and other therapeutic staff to develop and implement individualized plans.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement speech services that are developmentally appropriate, following frameworks of student IEPs, state curriculum, or common core standards.
- Provide direct individual and/or group therapy to students.
- Provide clinical supervision to 1-2 Speech and Language Assistants.
- Administer speech and language evaluations.
- Attend IEP meetings and conduct annual review meetings for students who receive speech/language services.
- Consult with classroom staff in implementing goals of all students and collect, analyze, and maintain data on all students within the classroom.
- Conduct thorough evaluations necessary for quarterly progress reports, annual assessment, and reevaluations.
- Plan daily work schedule to meet the requirements for direct service minutes and utilize indirect time in accordance with District guidelines.
- Facilitate ongoing parent contact and encourage family involvement.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Massachusetts SLP license.
- Prior experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to foster a collegial work environment and collaborate with a team.
- Good organization and time management skills.
- Commitment to standards of their profession.
- Drive to help students and their families.
