Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Assembler II to join our team at 603 Manufacturing, A Trexon Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling products in accordance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble assigned product parts on the assembly line in accordance with production guidelines.
  • Read and understand drawings, travelers, bills of material.
  • Use measuring tools, crimp tools, wire cutting equipment, and stripping machines.
  • Perform hand crimping, spot tie, continuous lacing, and flat lacing.
  • Apply heat shrink sleeving and boots.
  • Solder pins, contacts, and solder cups, micro-miniature, solder sleeves, bus wire splice.
  • Pot assemblies as required and clean molds.
  • Formulate 2-part compounds and use fixtures to achieve desired geometry.
  • Perform spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
  • Notify management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
  • Adhere to established company policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Requirements
  • Prior assembly experience required.
  • Advanced training in J-STD-001/IPC-620 Standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
