ARG Industrial is seeking a skilled Counter Sales Specialist to join our team in Bellingham. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and fabricating industrial and hydraulic hoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embody the ARG Industrial Core Values of authenticity, taking ownership, being helpful and collaborative, having a desire to elevate and evolve, and exhibiting grit.
  • Greet customers warmly and provide proactive assistance with product recommendations and information.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining inventory records.
  • Fabricate industrial and hydraulic hoses according to company standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in sales and customer service role is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish connections.

Working Conditions:

  • Position operates in both the front counter and within the warehouse.
  • May experience extended period of standing.
  • Regularly lifting and carrying objects (up to 40 pounds).
