Salary Information
The estimated gross pay for this role is $65,280 over 13 weeks, based on a 12-hour work schedule and an estimated up to: $2029.63/week pay rate. This figure does not include additional compensation or benefits.
Key Responsibilities
As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
- Monitoring vital signs, fetal heart rates, and contractions to assess labor progress.
- Assisting physicians and midwives during labor and delivery.
- Administering medications and providing pain management options.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of labor and delivery procedures, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care. You should also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as an active [STATE] Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing. Additionally, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse and certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
