The Licensed Practical Nurse Role

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Grand Living. As an LPN, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the overall resident and family experience by providing high-quality nursing care and leadership. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct care and administering medications to residents who require assistance
  • Ensuring the evaluation and clinical competence of assigned nursing personnel, assisted living aides, and medication aides
  • Participating in orientation, education, teaching, and supervision of staff through frequent rounding

You'll work closely with our Director of Health and Wellness to ensure that our community standards, processes, procedures, practices, and philosophy are upheld. Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Associate's degree in nursing, required
  • Three or more years' nursing experience, preferred
  • Assisted living or home health care experience, preferred
  • Must be a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment, required
  • Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
