Physician Empire is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team in Northern Maine. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in a rural community.
Responsibilities
As a Psychiatrist with Physician Empire, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. Your workload will consist of approximately 16 patients per day, with some inpatient coverage. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including a General/Child Psychiatrist, a mental health PA, and a Mental Health NP.
Work Environment
You will be working in a 50-bed hospital with a 7-bed child unit and a 9-bed adult unit. The average census is 8.5 beds, and the average length of stay is 14 days. The child unit typically serves patients aged 6 and above, although occasional younger patients may be admitted.
