We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician.
Key Responsibilities- Produce high-quality x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist.
- Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures.
- Perform x-ray procedures using portable machines as requested by the Emergency Department and nursing units.
- Process films for radiologists reading and interpretation following established procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians.
- Maintain x-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of an approved radiological training program and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current license/certification in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
- At least one year of diagnostic radiology experience.
