Job Description

BAE Systems USA is seeking an experienced Electronics Architect to join our team in Boulder, Colorado. We are looking for an electronics architect with expertise in focal plane subsystem technologies who can help craft photons-to-bits capabilities enabling high-performance signal chain solutions for a wide variety of remote sensing applications.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in space-based EO signal chain analysis and design, with hands-on experience testing and modeling focal plane performance characteristics. They will also have demonstrated mastery of low noise design techniques at both a circuit card and subsystem level.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing metrics to evaluate concepts and designs that represent mission utility for our customers.
  • Promoting leading-edge technologies for IRAD, future products, and business opportunities.
  • Providing subject matter expertise to resolve hardware anomalies at the system level and determine root cause and corrective action.
  • Identifying and mitigating technical risks early in the design phase.
  • Documenting and presenting analysis, findings, and design to peers, internal management, and DoD, NASA, and NOAA customers.

We offer a competitive salary range of $ and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan, disability coverage, and life and accident insurance. Our leave programs include paid time off, paid holidays, and other types of leave, including paid parental, military, bereavement, and any applicable federal and state sick leave.
