Cardiology Clinician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Clinical Cardiologist to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will practice under clinical supervision, providing exceptional patient care and demonstrating expertise in cardiology.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with various cardiac conditions.
• Organize and coordinate patient care activities, ensuring seamless transitions.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing results, making informed decisions about patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• A NYS Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license is required.
• 3 years of clinical experience, including ACLS and DEA privileges.
• 2-5 years of previous Cardiology experience is necessary, along with the ability to facilitate collaborative cardiology management.
