Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac PCU

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac PCU team in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Cardiac PCU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry and critical care, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
  • Oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Monitor and report patient vital signs and other relevant data to the healthcare team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current Massachusetts RN license required
  • Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict management skills required
  • Telemetry experience preferred
  • Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred
  • Critical Care experience preferred
  • CPR Training required within first 3 months of employment
  • Evidence of continued education and professional development
