Event Center Parking Attendant

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Event Center Parking Attendant at AEG. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional service to patrons while ensuring the smooth operation of our parking facilities.

About the Role:

  • Direct vehicles into the parking lot in the correct order, ensuring efficient use of space and minimizing congestion.
  • Dress accordingly for weather conditions and maintain a safe and clean working area.
  • Verify passes and direct patrons to designated locations, promoting compliance with event regulations.
  • Be vigilant during shifts, reporting any suspicious activity to the Parking Supervisor or Security team.
  • Collect fees from patrons parking in our lot, managing cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Position or remove barricades to prevent unauthorized parking in certain areas, maintaining the integrity of our facilities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring seamless interactions with patrons and colleagues.
  • Able to work varied shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, adapting to changing schedules.
  • Physically fit, able to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours, and safely lift up to 40 pounds when necessary.
