MaineHealth Nephrology is in search of a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to become a vital part of our dedicated team of seven (7) Advanced Practice Professionals. The core responsibilities include managing patients with chronic kidney disease in an outpatient environment, conducting rounds in dialysis facilities, and providing hospital coverage, which may involve occasional night or weekend shifts. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities, capable of building and sustaining effective relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and support staff. Experience in delivering healthcare education to patients and their families is highly valued. We seek a professional with a background in clinical office and/or hospital settings, particularly in managing patients with chronic illnesses.
