Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients and residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Evaluate patients to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
  • Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders, maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
  • Be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
  • Have experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing, with a strong understanding of the unique needs of this population.
  • Maintain current BLS/CPR certification, as required by the state of practice.
