Job Summary:

Sunny Springs Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Long-Term Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities:

* Administer nursing care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
* Assist residents with daily living activities, such as toileting, transferring, and ambulation.
* Maintain accurate records of resident care and report any changes or concerns to the Charge Nurse or RN Supervisor.
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families.

Requirements:

* Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Texas.
* A minimum of 6 months experience as a certified nursing assistant or clinical experience while enrolled in a nursing assistant certification class.
* Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
* Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
* Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
* Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
* Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
* Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the facility.
