Detailer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Detailer to join our team at Blue Compass RV. As a Detailer, you will be responsible for cleaning and detailing the interior and exterior of RVs, ensuring they are in pristine condition for our customers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
  • Dust and clean furniture, trim, and other interior components
  • Clean and sanitize all floors, including carpets, upholstery, and hard surfaces
  • Wash and clean interior components, including upholstery, leather, and vinyl
  • Apply stain guard and other protective coatings as needed
  • Deep clean appliances and other equipment
  • Operate cleaning equipment and machines
  • Use hand-held tools to detail the interior of RVs
  • Notify supervisors of any damage or needed repairs
  • Prep new units for delivery and recondition pre-owned units

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a dealership or detail center is a plus, but not required
  • Self-directed initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards

Physical Requirements:

This is a physically demanding job that requires standing for long periods, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 15 pounds. You will also be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
