The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to independently address moderately complex challenges, utilizing their analytical skills, while also recognizing when to seek assistance for more complicated issues.
They should be capable of executing basic development tasks autonomously but may require team support for more advanced assignments.A comprehensive understanding of general security frameworks and delivery models is essential, along with a foundational knowledge of Identity & Access Management and tools pertinent to the Mainframe RACF domain.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee and uphold the RACF security system to safeguard the organization’s data.
Employ problem-solving abilities to independently resolve moderately complex challenges, while being open to collaboration for more intricate issues.
Execute basic development tasks independently, yet remain receptive to team assistance for more complex endeavors.
Exhibit a solid grasp of security frameworks and delivery models, coupled with a fundamental understanding of Identity & Access Management tools within the IAM domain. Demonstrate a working knowledge of engineering best practices relevant to the IAM domain and a commitment to continuous learning and enhancement.Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience in the IT sector is required, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with engineering best practices, including the analysis, design, development, deployment, and support of software solutions and/or infrastructure upgrades is essential.Experience in the following domains:
Proficiency in Directory Services, Mainframe, and RACF. Competence in one or more scripting/programming languages such as REXX, Java, JCL, Python, PowerShell, etc.
Ability to align and enhance security practices. Capability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong documentation, testing, and automation skills. Aptitude for aligning technical requirements with business processes. Proficiency in prioritizing tasks based on business objectives and breaking down work to deliver incremental value. Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps environments is preferred.
