About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Lounge Attendant at Alaska Airlines. As a key member of our airport team, you will be responsible for ensuring the exceptional experience of our guests in our airport lounges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain the lounge's complimentary food and beverage stations, adhering to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Prepare and arrange food, heating required items to safe levels, and maintain inventory.
  • Restock self-service food and supplies as needed, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the lounge, including wiping up spills, clearing and cleaning tables, and removing trash.
  • Wash and return service equipment to its proper location, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Properly package unused food and return it to storage, minimizing waste and maintaining efficiency.
  • Clean and maintain food service equipment, including automated coffee, soda, and juice machines.
  • Support concierges by cleaning up and serving drinks, including alcoholic beverages.
Requirements
  • Motivated to achieve excellent guest service and exceed expectations.
  • Exceedingly organized and efficient, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests regarding food offerings and basic lounge information.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Display knowledge and adherence to sanitation and sanitary food handling requirements.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Must be able to obtain State Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Seller/Server Certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of hospitality or guest service experience.
  • Airline industry experience.
