Qualifications for Success:
- To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possession of a medical degree from an accredited institution recognized by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education and the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association.
- A valid medical license to practice in the State of Indiana is required.
- Current Indiana Controlled Substance Registration Certificate is necessary.
- A valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number must be held.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Supervisory Role:
- This position may involve supervisory responsibilities based on organizational needs.
Work Complexity:
- As a Physician 3, you will be expected to conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and provide on-call psychiatric care for individuals with severe mental health issues or developmental disabilities.
- Essential qualities include clinical expertise, teamwork, adherence to medical staff obligations, and a commitment to ethical practice.
Accountability:
- You will be responsible for delivering medical care to designated patients.
Collaborative Relationships:
- This role requires collaboration with agency personnel and stakeholders to achieve assigned objectives. Exceptional service is expected towards agency partners and the public.
- Engagement with relevant public agencies and community leaders may be necessary.
Physical Demands:
- Depending on specific duties, the role may involve frequent walking, standing, climbing, bending, and other physical activities.
