Lead a High-Performing Team at Public Storage

We are seeking a seasoned District Manager to lead our team of customer-facing professionals and drive operational excellence across our multi-unit locations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to improve customer satisfaction, sales, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, motivate, and retain a dedicated team of customer-facing employees, providing coaching and guidance on customer service and sales strategies.
  • Brand Ambassador: Manage physical assets, including repair and maintenance systems, vendor management, and cleaning standards, to ensure a welcoming and well-maintained environment for customers.
  • Operational Excellence: Conduct monthly property audits to ensure operational standards and safety compliance are met, and oversee delinquent tenant processes to reduce delinquency rates and improve customer retention.
  • Customer Service: Provide a professional and courteous experience for customers, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Business Growth: Analyze trends and develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities in your district, driving business forward and communicating effectively with customers, colleagues, and team members.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Compensation: $116,000 first-year annual total compensation award opportunity, including base, guaranteed bonus, and restricted stock units.
  • Performance-Based Bonus: Second-year bonus potential increase to $20,000.

Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership in building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams in a retail, service, hospitality, or related industry.
  • Top-Tier Performance: Proven track record of top-tier performance.
  • Operational Management: Experience managing operational audits and payroll budgets.
  • Communication and Time Management: Exceptional communication and time management skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Passion for Sales and Customer Service: Passion for sales and customer service excellence.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Availability: Weekend availability by telephone and 5 work Saturdays per year required during peak season.
