Salary

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at $73,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a generous sign-on bonus of up to $20,000, as well as a monthly loan repayment program for qualifying 2024 and 2025 nursing graduates. You will also receive up to five and a half weeks of paid time off annually, plus seven paid holidays each year.

Job Description

This registered nurse position is ideal for those who enjoy a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. As a member of the 6 West Ortho/Trauma Unit team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including orthopedic, trauma, neurological, medical-surgical patients. Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing detailed and appropriate teaching to patients and families to effectively guide them through the episode of care

* Supporting the development of students, new staff, and colleagues, may serve as a preceptor

* Creating an environment of open dialogue, inquiry, and continuous development by asking for feedback and improving practice

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

* Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse either in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by a licensure compact agreement with the state where the facility is located

* BSN preferred

* Ability to establish and maintain positive, caring relationships with executives, managers, physicians, non-physician providers, ancillary and support staff, other departments, and patients/families
