About the Role:

As a Radiology Technologist at DHR Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic radiological procedures in a timely and efficient manner. Your primary responsibility will be to work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of patient care. In addition, you will be required to cross-train into other appropriate modalities and maintain equipment and procedure competencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all diagnostic radiological procedures in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of patient care.
  • Cross-train into other appropriate modalities.
  • Maintain equipment and procedure competencies.
  • Responsible for the care and cleanliness of equipment, supplies, and work area.
  • Perform all X-ray and Fluoroscopy procedures in a timely manner.
  • Accurately comprehend and interpret verbal orders and directions.
  • Assume responsibility for the collection and processing of patient specimens.
  • Complete accurate documentation on patient records according to policy.
  • Operate all appropriate clinical equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
  • Current state certification (i.e. Texas Medical Board) required.
  • Current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) general certification preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required.
  • American Heart Association ACLS and PALS recommended.
  • Must be sensitive to cultural and bilingual issues.
  • Secretarial experience and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English required. Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, administration, and physicians.
  • Computer knowledge required.

Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Must project a professional image.

Customer Service:
  • Provide excellent customer service to all DHR customers.
