Property Manager Job Description

MacDonald Realty Group is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving the highest possible net operating income while maintaining the quality of the asset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of assigned assets, including administration, leasing, occupancy, and maintenance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of maintenance repairs.
  • Maintain positive relationships with tenants.
  • Negotiate apartment leases and vendor contracts.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to generate qualified traffic.
  • Assist with rent collection and property operating expense management.
  • Develop asset operating budgets.
  • Hire and coach employees.
  • Maintain positive cash flow.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of property management experience.
  • Proficient understanding of successful multifamily property management.
  • Competency in MS Office and multifamily software, Fair Housing Laws, and leadership/supervisory skills.
  • Customer focus and bottom-line driven.
  • Social media savvy.
  • Effective communication.
  • Organized with excellent time management skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • This position requires 10% travel.
