**Job Summary:**

"At Centerline, we're seeking an experienced and motivated telecom lineman to serve as a foreman and lead their own crew. This role is based out of our Fairfield, Maine office, where you'll be responsible for building new telecom networks in the state.

As a telecom lineman with us, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from aerial copper plant installations to pole placements and removals. You'll need to possess strong leadership skills, be able to make independent judgments, and perform repetitive tasks with ease.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Run small jobs with a few crews, providing guidance and leadership
  • Complete tasks in a timely fashion, including aerial and underground work
  • Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork
  • Delegating work within the crew and taking responsibility for actions
  • Ensure the organization and cleanliness of trucks
  • Accountable for the advancement and training of crew members
  • Perform tasks such as reading maps, running assist wheels, and checking oil

**Qualifications:**

  • At least two years of experience with placing aerial copper plant, tensioning strand, and safely transferring high-count copper cables
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass random screenings
  • Ability to make independent judgments and perform repetitive tasks
  • Pass OSHA-10 Certification within 90 days of start date and maintain a valid DOT Physical

**Work Environment:**

  • Frequent lifting of up to 80 pounds and exposure to environmental conditions

Estimated salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
