Position Overview:
This role involves entry-level professional accounting responsibilities, focusing on the analysis and preparation of financial and budgetary statements and reports. The individual in this position will undertake professional accounting tasks that necessitate careful analysis and the selection of appropriate actions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounting data for posting to general ledger accounts from subsidiary records.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Analyze financial statements and reports for clarity and accuracy.
- Monitor and assess daily cash receipts and wires in preparation for journal entries, resolving any coding issues and addressing inquiries from staff and external agencies.
- Prepare bank deposits across various accounts.
- Generate journal entries for all deposits and wires.
- Create monthly journal entries for ZBA, Security Deposit, and Replacement for Reserve.
- Make necessary corrections to the general ledger.
- Maintain accurate and organized records.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in an accounting role.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with governmental regulations and laws pertaining to accounting activities.
- Knowledge of inter-company reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in computerized accounting systems and spreadsheet databases.
- Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret financial data effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
