Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Specialist to collaborate with our laboratory team at K.A. Recruiting. The successful candidate will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood banking.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and perform quality control checks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field (MT) or Associate's degree (MLT).
- Benefits package includes health insurance and retirement plans.
- Availability to cover PTO and sick time for 2nd shift.
- Potentially covering 2nd shift on holidays, except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
