As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving, verifying, and processing incoming and outgoing domestic, international, and foreign currency wire transfers while ensuring proper procedures are followed.
Main Responsibilities- Wire Transfer Processing: Process incoming wire transfers received through the Bank's wire system(s) with a high degree of accuracy and within established deadlines.
- Domestic and International Wire Transfers: Process outgoing domestic and international wire transfers in U.S. Dollars and/or foreign currency submitted through the Bank's wire system(s) with accuracy and within established deadlines and limits for customers.
- Correspondent Relationships: Process entries for incoming wire transfers received through the Bank's correspondent relationships.
- Security Procedures: Execute all security procedures associated with payments.
- System Monitoring: Monitor system queues and perform duties as needed to ensure work is processed in a timely manner.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a banking back-office role.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills.
- Communication Skills: Strong written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.
- Judgment and Common Sense: Good judgment and common sense.
- Time Management: Ability to set priorities and meet established deadlines.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Work Environment: Typical work hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Competitive Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Benefits: Medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) matching up to 4%, and generous paid time off schedules.
