Cardiovascular and Thoracic Physician Assistant Locum Tenens

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in a locum tenens capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, with experience in surgical assist in the cardiac OR, vein harvesting, and valve replacements.
Responsibilities- Evaluates patients in the hospital and orders/interprets testing and lab results, modifying the plan of care to address results.
- Provides clinical expertise and direction to support patient medication management.
- Maintains accurate documentation regarding patient status, evaluations, and treatments to physicians, streamlining the patient transfer process between levels of care.
- Performs other related duties as required to assure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Experience in surgical assist in the cardiac OR, vein harvesting, and valve replacements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
