Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Intelligent Staffing. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate, monitor, and maintain life support systems for patients
  • Perform airway care and maintenance
  • Manage artificial ventilator status as directed by an approved protocol
  • Assess patients' cardiopulmonary status and formulate a respiratory care plan
  • Administer proper technical respiratory care procedures
  • Dispense proper dosage of medication and regulate equipment
  • Observe patients' respiratory rate and pattern, pulse, and breath sounds
  • Chart and communicate pertinent information to the patient's nurse
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a NBRC-approved and accredited program in respiratory therapy
  • One year of clinical practice experience under medical direction
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Current State Licensure for a Respiratory Care Practitioner
