Job Summary

The Field Property Insurance Consultant will be responsible for photographing and documenting the condition of properties, identifying visible hazards, and determining occupancy. This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to make decisions under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality, accurate residential and commercial insurance inspections while maintaining time service requirements.
• Audit and train Independent Property Inspectors.
• Make decisions independently while under pressure.
• Relies upon independent judgment and discretion to plan efficient routes and evaluate risks while managing time effectively.
• Overnight travel is required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the insurance inspections, appraisals, claims adjusting, or an industry that requires building construction knowledge.
• Must be well organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Intermediate or above computer skills.
• Familiarity with mapping software.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Cell phone.
• High speed internet access.
