Job Overview

Shared Medical Services is seeking a skilled Mammographer to join our team. As an employee-owned company, we prioritize our patients' needs and strive for excellence in medical imaging solutions.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner, interacting with various facilities and meeting new people. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining a clean mobile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screening mammography at clinics, corporate, and community outreach locations within the Twin Cities metro area
  • Collaborate with a team of mammographers or assistants on a 26' straight truck equivalent mobile mammography unit equipped with Hologic 3D mammography system
  • Drive the mobile unit to screening locations, ensuring timely and efficient service

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiologic Technology program
  • Registered with ARRT, American Registry of Clinical Radiologic Technologists, or licensed to perform general radiographic procedures
  • Prefer 40 hours of training in mammography; willing to train
  • Ability to drive or experience driving equivalent to a 26' straight truck; willing to train
  • Ability to produce quality imaging with limited supervision
  • Must be able to interact in a responsible, professional, and ethical manner
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess a valid Class D Drivers' License; CDL not required
  • Must have an acceptable driving record
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment (post-offer) background check, urine drug screen, and physical
  • Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills
