Software Planning Engineer

Actalent is seeking a skilled Software Planning Engineer to join our team. As a Software Planning Engineer, you will work with next-gen trucks, utilizing your expertise in software development and planning to ensure seamless vehicle software updates.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute vehicle software flashing via End of Line programming system
Execute vehicle software flashing via manual updates, including determining and working with engineering to support all software sets and parameters
Create and track issue tickets related to failed software flashing
Communicate with engineering and PVE fleet management teams on actions and next steps
Coordinate vehicle software and parameter finalization and shakedown
Gather feedback and actions from shakedown, including faults, and drive updates to completion
Develop proficiency in software/CAN tools for vehicle troubleshooting
Participate and pass all relevant training
Planning and Scheduling:
Plan upcoming software updates
Schedule with multiple functional groups to spread the workload
Maintain 6-12 month planning forecast
Facilitate Daily Alignment meetings with Cross-functional teams
Optimize and support planning improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Software engineering experience, ideally within the automotive industry
Planning and organizational experience overseeing a project where they're driving deliverables
Scheduling with multiple functional groups to spread the workload
