Essential Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN is preferred.
- Active nursing license in good standing with the relevant State board.
- CNOR certification is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in nursing administration or OR management; proficient computer skills are required.
- Experience in outpatient healthcare operations or similar environments is preferred.

Role Summary
The OR Manager provides leadership and oversight for all nursing and ancillary personnel within designated clinical areas. This role encompasses the management of clinical operations, quality assurance, personnel oversight, financial management, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and pursue objectives aligned with the organization's mission. Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and quality improvement.
- Ensure staff meet quality standards for patient care and customer satisfaction. Maintain compliance with productivity benchmarks for assigned units.
- Identify operational needs; manage inventory levels of equipment and supplies while ensuring proper maintenance.
- Assess the clinical environment and recommend enhancements for patient comfort, safety, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate on the development and expansion of training and professional development opportunities for staff.
- Assist in budget planning and management for assigned areas, monitoring compliance and addressing variances.
- Oversee staff management, including scheduling, attendance, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure effective airway management and maintain sterile techniques during procedures.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary communication to promote safe and appropriate patient care.
- Educate families about care processes to ensure their involvement and understanding.
- Partner with surgical teams to support coordinated care within Perioperative Services.
- Utilize data to guide clinical practices and improve patient outcomes.
- Manage staffing, quality assurance, research initiatives, and budgetary considerations for respective areas.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance operational processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
