Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and outcomes
- Identify and implement appropriate nursing interventions
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and preventive measures throughout the rehabilitation process
- Deliver direct care tailored to the patient's condition and age
- Provide training to clinical staff on treatment protocols and preventive strategies
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
- Active RN licensure in the state
- Graduate of an accredited wound ostomy care nursing program with current state licensure
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the specialty is required
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred
- Wound Ostomy Care Nurse (WOCN) certification preferred
