Job Summary

The Registered Pharmacist is a key member of our team, responsible for providing day-to-day operational needs with the dispensing of prescription medication. This role requires adherence to company quality and customer service standards, policies, and procedures, as well as state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Process new patient referral prescriptions, preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medications
  • Work closely with Pharmacy Technicians and Order Entry Technicians in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Provide client care, including patient follow-up, monitoring clinical laboratory data, and working with physicians on dosing antibiotics
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements
  • Assist with ensuring safety practices and procedures are adhered to and practiced
  • Enforce all company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Comply with all applicable state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practices
Requirements
  • Degree in Pharmacy
  • Pharmacist License
  • Minimum of one (1) year recent experience in an acute-care setting or two (2) years' experience as a pharmacist preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills with English as the primary language
