We are seeking a highly skilled Ambulatory Practice Medical Director to lead our family medicine outpatient practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced physician to contribute to the success of our organization and advance the goals and objectives of our community.
About the Role:
This position provides strategic clinical leadership to clinicians in partnership with operations leaders for a full scope family medicine outpatient practice without OB.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements clinical programs and services to meet the needs of our patients and community.
- Serves as a clinician advisor for strategic planning, clinical services growth, and operations viability of current and future ambulatory practices.
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to advance the goals and objectives of our organization.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree (MD or DO) and four years of experience.
- Valid license to practice medicine in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes, or licensed in another state and eligible for Florida licensure.
- Completion of an approved U.S. Residency Program and valid Board Certification in Family Medicine or appropriate discipline.
- Current Federal DEA license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification by certifying agency, or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
