We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Hospitalist Physician to join our team at MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society. As a key member of our inpatient gastroenterology team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our gastroenterology services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide inpatient gastroenterology care to patients with a range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acute bleeds, esophageal obstructions, Crohn's Disease, ulcerative colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, esophageal cancer, Barrett's esophagus, acid reflux, chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, digestive disease, and colon cancer.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize our gastroenterology services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in gastroenterology and incorporate evidence-based practices into your patient care.
- Board certification or eligibility in gastroenterology.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in inpatient gastroenterology.
