Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to: 1.

Clinical Responsibilities:

Engage in patient care planning and assist with nursing procedures as directed. Recognize the necessity for emergency interventions and act accordingly.

Provide fundamental nursing services under the supervision of a licensed physician or registered nurse, including:
Preparing equipment and assisting medical professionals during examinations and procedures. Ensure all necessary tools are sanitized and ready for use.
Respond to inquiries regarding clinic policies and manage appointment scheduling effectively. Facilitate patient flow by overseeing check-in processes.

Within the scope of practice, deliver essential nursing services to patients across all age groups. Identify normal and abnormal patient conditions.

Gather and relay critical information to the RN or physician to ensure timely and appropriate care for patients in need.

Implement necessary actions in emergency situations and document vital patient data, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.

Review immunization records and administer vaccines as needed. 2.

Equipment Operation and Diagnostic Procedures:
Utilize and manage medical equipment, such as monitoring systems and infusion pumps. Assist medical professionals during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing supplies and ensuring patient comfort.

Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report any irregularities to the supervising physician or RN.

Documentation and Patient Education:
Maintain accurate records of all procedures and observations in patient files. Promote healthy practices tailored to individual patient needs and circumstances.
Instruct patients on the proper use of medical aids and educate them on early warning signs of health issues.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
