Photographer and Videographer

Auburn University's Recreation and Wellness department is seeking a skilled Photographer and Videographer to represent, produce, and develop high-quality visual content for various programs, services, and events. The ideal candidate will possess excellent photography and videography skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Utilize professional knowledge and artistic judgment to create engaging photography and video content for sports, fitness, outdoor recreation, and wellness programs, competitions, and special events.
• Operate and maintain all photography and video equipment and accessories, ensuring high-quality output.
• Edit all image and video formats, as well as other media assets, for placement in various channels, including web, news, social media, and print publications.
• Maintain a comprehensive library of photographs and videos, efficiently labeling and archiving all images.
• Plan and execute promotional photo and video shoots for Recreation and Wellness programs, services, and events.
• Mentor and train student workers in photography, videography, and editing.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Working knowledge of photo and video editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom).
• Desirable qualifications: working knowledge of After Effects and Adobe Illustrator, 2-3 years of professional experience in photography, videography, or digital marketing.
