Job Title: Manufacturing Manager

Metallized Carbon Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Manufacturing Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for the overall direction and coordination of our manufacturing department, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality engineered mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate the activities of multiple employees in the manufacturing department.
  • Inspect products for conformance to quality standards.
  • Direct the setup and adjustments of machines and process equipment.
  • Establish and adjust production schedules to meet business needs.
  • Enforce company policies and safety regulations.
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assign duties.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems.
  • Troubleshoot complicated equipment.
  • Perform inspection and maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering and a minimum of 5-7 years of managerial experience. Mechanical abilities and experience with lathes, grinders, and blueprint reading are highly desirable. Additional skills such as MRP/Inventory Control, Lean Manufacturing 5-S, and Quality Control are also beneficial.

Benefits:

Metallized Carbon Corporation offers a competitive benefits package, including a salary range of $75,000 - $110,000, comprehensive health insurance, 401k retirement plan, and paid time off.

Location:

The position is located in the tri-state area (New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut) and requires compliance with ITAR requirements.
